The city of Winnipeg turned 150 in 2024! To celebrate, the Manitoba Museum’s Dr. Roland Sawatzky has shared some incredible stories (click here to watch) from our city’s past that can be found in the Museum’s Winnipeg Gallery
In our latest Winnipeg 150 video (watch here) Dr. Sawatzky talks about the meaning behind the current city of Winnipeg crest and invites you, the viewer, to think about how you might update the crest to reflect our city in 2024.
All entries will be entered to win 4 (four) All Attraction passes to the Manitoba Museum! A select few will be selected by a panel of Museum experts to share on Instagram for our followers to vote on their favourite drawing. The winner will receive a year-long Manitoba Museum Family Membership!
Guidelines & Conditions:
- Participants are only allowed to submit one design, which are to be executed solely by the submitter
- All submissions will be judged based on creativity, originality, and the rationale behind your proposed changes.
- All submissions must be received by December 2, 2024 at 10:00 am CST.
