The Winnipeg Gallery provides multiple unique experiences to explore the history of our dynamic city. View a 9-minute timeline film of the history of Winnipeg framed by the original Eaton’s Building entrance. 

A 20-foot case with over 100 artifacts explores seven themes in Winnipeg’s history. Personal story-telling and experiences are expressed in interactive video and audio areas – choose the questions you may want to ask a newcomer! A state-of-the-art touchscreen table explores changes over time using digital maps. 

The Personalities Wall showcases 30 individuals in Winnipeg history from the 1870s to the present, who are part of the fabric of our community. 

End your Museum journey with an incredible immersive experience entering a 1920 Winnipeg Cityscape, exploring the buildings of the era, and discovering the diversity of people from over 100 years ago. Video wall projections and audio add life and action to this much-loved gallery.
