Access for All

Building Community • Engaging Curiosity • Finding Belonging

Access should never be limited, no matter the reason.

The Manitoba Museum commits to all communities the opportunity to experience its life changing programs and exhibitions and to always feel welcome, forever a part of Manitoba’s incredible stories.

Through Access for All, thousands of community members enjoy complimentary access to the Museum each year. Visitors engage in memorable learning experiences that bridge our understanding and love of history, nature, and science with today’s reality and hopes for the future.

Celebrating our shared humanity, sustaining the world, and expanding our understanding of the universe, the Access for All initiatives purpose is to remove financial, social, and cultural barriers to visitation. Through your support, the Museum aims to further grow, diversify, and engage new audiences. To continually reflect and assess research, collections, exhibitions, and programs to enhance their relevance to Manitoba’s diverse populations including ethnicity, culture, age, gender, and abilities. Continuing to create a Museum that belongs to all Manitobans. Your Story Belongs Here!

Planned & Legacy Giving

Has the Manitoba Museum played an important role in the lives of you and your loved ones? Remembering the Museum with a gift in your will can help ensure that its growth and development are supported well into the future.

When you remember The Manitoba Museum Foundation in your will, you leave a community legacy ensuring that future generations can learn and grow at the Manitoba Museum. Your legacy will ensure that our collection of almost 2.9 million artifacts and specimens is cared for and continues to grow. It will be felt by the thousands of students who come on field trips and the visitors who walk explore the galleries. By planning for the future, you will help to sustain the Manitoba Museum as a centre of learning and research in our province.

To start your conversation about how planned giving may benefit you, your loved ones, and the Manitoba Museum, contact Charwin Dahl, Director of Development, at or 204-988-0656.
