Please note: Members are encouraged to reserve their FREE members tickets to Planetarium shows online or at the Box Office in advance. Members who show up at the Planetarium entrance without reserved tickets will not be guaranteed a spot for the Planetarium show.

Yes! The cost of your general admission tickets can be applied towards a Manitoba Museum Membership. Please bring in your admission tickets and receipt to the Box Office within two weeks of purchase.
Admission to any of our temporary exhibitions or special programs/events cannot be included in the admission to membership upgrade.
All Manitoba Museum Memberships are annual, and are valid until the end of the month one year after the date of purchase.
For example: A Membership purchased on October 10, 2023 will be valid until October 31, 2024.

Members are encouraged to reserve their FREE Members tickets to Planetarium shows online or at the Box Office in advance. Members who show up at the Planetarium entrance without reserved tickets will not be guaranteed a spot for the Planetarium show.
Members can enjoy express entry into the Museum Galleries and Science Gallery without waiting in line at the Box Office. Membership cards must be presented to the security guard at each area entrance and photo identification may be requested at the point of entry.
For temporary exhibitions and public programs, Members will have the option to purchase special Member-priced admission to the exhibition online or at the Box Office.
Manitoba Museum Members receive free or discounted admission to 30+ science centres and museums across Canada through the Canadian Association of Science Centres (CASC) and Alliance of Natural History Museums of Canada (ANHMC) reciprocal agreements! Members must live more than 150 km from the centre they wish to visit in order to receive free or discounted admission.

Please show the welcome letter you received when purchasing or renewing your Membership as proof of valid Membership along with your Manitoba Museum Member card(s) when visiting other science centres and museums across Canada. You may also be asked for photo identification and proof of address.
If you have lost or misplaced your Membership welcome letter, please contact the Membership Office at Membership@ManitobaMuseum.ca to have a new letter emailed to you.
No, entrance to separately ticketed temporary exhibitions are not included in the price of a Membership. Members can take advantage of our discounted temporary exhibition rates by buying tickets online or visiting the Box Office.

An Organization Membership includes eight Membership cards addressed to the name of the business (for-profit or non-profit). Membership cards can be distributed to the business staff or clients as the business sees fit.
Individuals visiting under an Organization Membership must be in possession of a valid Manitoba Museum Membership card (1 card per visitor) to gain entry to the Museum Galleries, Planetarium, or Science Gallery, and/or to be eligible for Member rates to temporary exhibitions.

No, Manitoba Museum Memberships are non-refundable.
No, Manitoba Museum Memberships (not including Organization Memberships) are non-transferable. Only the individual whose name appears on the Membership card is entitled to Member benefits.
To replace your Membership card(s), please visit the box office. A card replacement fee of $3.00 applies for each lost or stolen card.
