Bring one class or bring a bunch! We want to make your year-end field trip easy, fun, and educational with our Ultimate Field Trip Package.
Starting Monday, May 26, we are offering schools a full-day Ultimate Field Trip experience which includes a science demonstration, a visit to the Science Gallery, a Planetarium show, and exploration time in the Museum Galleries – all for only $15.00 per student! Don’t have time to do it all? Not to worry – you can still book one or two attractions if you prefer, but grade-specific, guided programs and shows will not be available after May 23.
Ultimate Science!
The Museum has gone through its massive vault of science demonstrations and experiments, picked out the ones with the biggest “WOW” factor, and mashed them all together into one spectacular extravaganza of science-y fun and engagement. Join us for 30 minutes of “zappp!”, “kabooom!”, and “boiiingggg” guaranteed to make your students want more!
Ultimate Universe!
This special planetarium show will cover the Universe’s greatest hits, from constellations and planets to black holes and aliens. This live program will cover content drawn from all of the astronomy-related curriculum clusters, presented in a fun and engaging way for students of all ages.
You may also opt for our very popular show Legends of the Northern Sky, which plays at 11:15 am daily.
Ultimate Adventure!
Explore both the Science Gallery and Museum Galleries as part of your day-long adventure.
Every exhibit in the Science Gallery is yours to engage with as a scientist, engineer, or wide-eyed explorer. Play with illusions, test the laws of gravity, or dive into our one-of-a-kind Lake Winnipeg simulator. Hands-on, interactive learning will spark your imagination and challenge your mind.
Choose your own adventure in the Museum Galleries with one of our self-guided trails or join in hands-on, pop-up activities. Visit the Nonsuch, explore millions of years of history, journey through Manitoba from north to south, and connect to our shared history.
