Hosted by Planetarium astronomer Scott Young, Dome@Home brings the wonders of the universe to anyone with an internet connection. The show’s content focuses on all of the celestial sights and special events that viewers can see over the next month.

Next show: Thursday, June 26, 2025 @ 7:00 pm (Central Time)

June has the shortest nights of the year, and they don’t even get fully dark in Manitoba, so this is a good month to look at the daytime possibilities that astronomy has to offer! In this month’s episode of Dome@Home, we’ll talk about safe solar observing, daytime spotting of the moon and planets, and other options for observing during the daylight hours.

We’ll also cover the stars that you can see at night this time of year, highlight images sent in by you, and chat about all the cool space stuff from the past month.
