Some people have the chance to get out of the city during the summer, whether it’s to a cottage, camp ground, park, or other location with fewer nighttime lights. In this month’s episode of Dome@Home, we’ll share our suggestions for what to take to make astronomy a part of your travel plans, from star charts to binoculars to that super-important piece of telescope gear that makes everything work. We’ll also talk about dealing with Manitoba’s summer scourge, mosquitoes…

Plus, we’ll share some viewer images, take a look at where Jupiter and Venus are in the mornings at this time of year, and share an update on August’s Perseid meteor shower, and other cool space stuff!
