Celebrate Black History: A Family’s History in Our Community

We are pleased to present an interactive virtual presentation with Judy Williams who will tell stories of several generations of her family who first came to Winnipeg in 1905. We’ll explore her family’s history through questions like – who were they? how did they make a living? how did they connect to the community? what challenges did they face? what did they enjoy doing? how was life different in the past? what did children do?

This program is suitable for grades 2-6. Registration for this program is FREE.
