Event Series: Sensory Sundays

Sensory Sundays

September 6 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Two adults and two children by the caribou diorama in the Manitoba Museum Arctic and Sub-Arctic Gallery. The older child, seated in a wheelchair, smiles and points out to an aspect of the diorama, and the younger child is held by one of the adults. The photo is on a blue background with "Sensory Sundays" written along the top.

A relaxed and sensory friendly morning!

Join us for Sensory Sunday – a quieter, sensory friendly experience in our Museum Galleries. From 10 am to 12 pm, throughout the galleries, sounds will be turned down or off, lighting will be adjusted, and our Quiet Room will be available for any sensory breaks you might need.

This event is scheduled to be a monthly event, occurring on the first Sunday of the month. We will be on-site gathering feedback, and implementing new changes over the coming months to ensure everyone feels safe and welcomed!

For information about this event, please contact Anya Moodie-Foster, Manager of School & Public Programs, at AMoodieFoster@ManitobaMuseum.ca or (204) 988-0688.
