Nuit Blanche at the Manitoba Museum

September 30, 2017 @ 8:00 pm - October 1, 2017 @ 1:00 am

Celebrate Canada 150 and Culture Days at a FREE evening Planetarium screenings of Horizon, a 360-degree cinematic journey into the heart of Canada. The film is a soaring visual symphony that places viewers in the centre of the action during an inspiring showcase of Canadian creative expression that unfolds from coast to coast to coast. HORIZON takes its audience on a revealing expedition from the highest peaks to the deepest seas, and through all ten provinces and three territories. Drawing upon artistic inspiration from across our country’s rich cultural mosaic, the film features traditional and contemporary creative works set in the unforgettable urban and natural landscapes of our diverse nation.

Also enjoy telescope viewing on the Plaza and go hands-on in the Science Gallery with some out-of-this-world space-themed activities to help celebrate International Astronomy Day.
