It’s New Moon, bringing the darkest skies of the month. We’ll head outside of the city and take a look at what you can see when the Moon is out of the sky. We’ll also look at what the very darkness of the night sky tells us about the basic nature of the Universe.

Plus, an update from the joint European-Japanese BepiColumbo spacecraft that just flew past Mercury!

[email protected] is a weekly series of FREE virtual programming inviting Manitobans to explore the universe with Planetarium Astronomer Scott Young.

As pioneering Canadian astronomer Helen Sawyer Hogg always said, “The stars belong to everyone.”
