Starting April 8, the Museum Galleries will again be open Thursday to Sunday, from 11am to 5pm. The Planetarium, Science Gallery, and Museum Shop remain closed until further notice.

There are three permanent attractions at the Manitoba Museum – the Museum Galleries, Planetarium Theatre, and the Science Gallery. Each of these are referred to as an “attraction”.

HOW DO ADMISSIONS WORK?
Almost half of our operating budget is earned through admissions and donations. As a non-profit registered charity, the Manitoba Museum relies on admissions to fulfill its mandate of collecting, protecting, and researching across Manitoba and keep exhibitions in working order. The Manitoba Museum offers free* admission to the following visitors (*some restrictions apply):
Children Ages 0-2
No admission ticket is required.
People accompanying a person with a disability (up to two support persons per visitor). Applies to general admission for Museum Galleries, Planetarium and Science Gallery. Please notify Box Office staff upon your arrival if you are a support person as an admission ticket is required.
Applies to general admission for Museum Galleries, Planetarium and Science Gallery. Regular rates apply on all other Museum offerings. Please notify Box Office staff upon your arrival if you are an Indigenous Person as an admission ticket is required.

Canadian Forces Appreciation Program
The Manitoba Museum is proud to participate in the Canadian Forces Appreciation Program. Program members must present their CFOne card at the Manitoba Museum Box Office to receive 15% off admission (for the Museum Galleries, Planetarium, and/or Science Gallery; not valid with Temporary Exhibitions) or 15% off membership.
Admission discount is valid for a maximum of six people in a group, and the membership discount is valid for currently serving members and veterans. This discount cannot be combined with any other offer or discount.
