Product Description

This particular gargoyle represents the City Editor of The Winnipeg Tribune. It was one of 14 decorative figures representing various newspaper industry employees which were attached to the exterior walls of the Tribune building at 527 Smith Street, Winnipeg in 1914. They were removed during exterior renovations in 1969, and were sold to employees of the newspaper.
