Anyone who has been aboard the Nonsuch notices that there isn’t a giant ship’s wheel. Instead there is a large wooden beam that was used to steer the Nonsuch, this is called a Tiller and it’s attached to the rudder post which moves the large rudder below and steers the ship. The tiller is moved in the opposite direction of where you want the bow (front) to go, turning the tiller to the port side (left) will turn the bow to starboard (right). Adopt the tiller today and keep the Nonsuch on the straight and narrow!
