Product Description

A carriole, or passenger sledge, is a kind of sled or toboggan pulled by a dog. It is designed to carry one person with space behind for storage of a box of personal belongings. This carriole was built at Norway House around 1908. It is a replica of the one presented to Countess Grey, the wife of Earl Grey, the Governor-General of Canada.
