For Immediate Release (May 15): Fact or fiction? Learn the truth about dinosaurs in the media. Get the scoop on the latest discoveries about hot-blooded, living and strange-looking dinosaurs, huge and tiny, from Jurassic Park advisor, author, and World’s Giant Dinosaurs exhibit creator, Dino Don Lessem on Friday May 19 at 7pm. This event kicks off the Museum’s new hours for the run of World’s Giant Dinosaurs which includes being open to the public on Fridays until 9pm.
Dino Don’s claim to fame is his role as on the set of Jurassic Park, acting as an advisor for Steven Spielberg as Michael Crichton’s bestselling book Jurassic Park was brought to the big screen in 1993. Lessem has also acted as an advisor for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, written and hosted Discovery Channel and NOVA documentaries, and continues as television and radio commentator on paleontology. Lessem also has a dinosaur named after him!

Lessem has authored more than 50 popular science books and has a passion for engaging children in love for science. The talk at the Museum will be family friendly and exciting for visitors of all ages and will include sharing the most recent discoveries on how dinosaurs grew to be so large and the connection between birds and dinosaurs.
