Virtual Field Trip for Home Learning: What’s Up?

December 17, 2020 @ 10:30 am - 11:15 am

Explore the Manitoba Museum from home with our Virtual Field Trips . With a new theme every session, these online programs are perfect for home learners looking for a fun, curriculum-based experience, for friends looking for an interactive way to spend time together at a distance, and for just about anyone interested in learning more about Manitoba! All are welcome.

Virtual Field Trip for Home Learning: What’s Up

“What’s Up?” introduces participants to the various things we can see in the sky and how they change. Discover the daily and seasonal changes of the sun, moon, and planets, the changing shape of the Moon, and the stories behind the constellations.

This program is appropriate for students in kindergarten through grade 3, and covers elements of various science curriculum clusters (especially grade 1 “Daily and Seasonal Changes” and “Characteristics and Needs of Living Things”).

TEACHERS: Interested in booking this program for your class? Contact our Reservations Coordinator at 204-988-9626 or email [email protected]. Or, submit a Virtual Field Trip Booking Request Form.
