NatureIDEAS: The Science Behind Beer

Discover the art and science behind craft brewing. Enjoy a paired beer tasting led by experts, Paul Sokoloff, Botanist from the Canadian Museum of Nature and Mark Borowski, the brewmaster at Nonsuch Brewing Co. Learn about the botanical sciences that go into brewing and find out how brewmasters make your favourite beverage. Complimentary appetizers are provided by Urban Prairie Cuisine.

Paul Sokoloff,
a botanist, avid Arctic adventurer, former Scout, and one of the Canadain Museum of Nature’s research scientists will share his stories of adventure in the North and throughout Canada while offering insight into the science behind beer.

 

A joint presentation by the Canadian Museum of Nature in partnership with the Manitoba Museum.
