Collecting 2020: The Future of the Museum

July 15 @ 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Collecting 2020

July 15 is the Manitoba Museum’s 50th birthday. As we reflect on the past 50 years, we are also planning for our future. What is the role of the Museum? How do we reflect the everyday lives of communities? Join us for a virtual pop-up talk with Dr. Roland Sawatzky, Curator of History, and Rachel Erickson, Head of Learning & Engagement, as we explore how the Museum is “collecting 2020” – an unprecedented year of challenges and change for our city, our province, and the world.

This event will be streamed live on Zoom and on Facebook.

The event link will be available closer to the date.
