Dino Dig Discovery Room

OPENS May 6, 2016 AND RUNS TO January 8, 2017

Take a step back in time…way back.  Our Dino Dig Discovery Room is the perfect stop before you see our new Pliosaur Exhibit featuring Chomper, the 90-million-year-old fossil.  The Dino Dig features a hands-on dig area where you can search for fossils to recreate a skeleton.  You will also learn how Triceratops ate, what dinosaur skin looked like, how big Deinonychus’ killer claw was, and more while investigating dinosaur teeth, and examining fossils.  If you need a break, you can always sit back and watch videos showing how the Pliosaur skeleton was recreated from the 90-million-year-old fossils.
