Immerse yourself in the special atmosphere of the Manitoba Museum’s Planetarium as we celebrate its 50th Anniversary. Musicians from the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra will expand your horizons with a concert of shimmering celestial compositions inspired by space, time and vision. Enveloping images of the stars, the sky and the universe will elevate the sounds of the music in this unique theatre.
There will be a cash bar and complimentary light appetizers will be served.
The Science Gallery will be open before and after each performance. Guests are welcome to explore the gallery before and/or after the performances. Doors to the Planetarium will open 15 minutes before each performance.
A second performance of the same surprise concert will take place at 8:30 pm, also in the Planetarium.
