Learn how to make your own hand-woven beaded earrings in our upcoming workshop with artist Bronwyn Butterfield. In this three-hour workshop, participants will learn how to use the brick stitch and the ladder stitch to create a beautiful pair of triangle pattern earrings.
We will also be going behind-the-scenes into the Manitoba Museum collections to find inspiration from the colours, styles, and patterns of the beading found on objects from all over Manitoba.
Sunday, February 2 • 1 pm – 5 pm
Light refreshments, coffee, and tea will be provided.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Alex Judge at [email protected]

About the Artist: Bronwyn Butterfield
Bronwyn Butterfield has been doing art since she was very young. Looking to reconnect with her Métis ancestry, Bronwyn joined a beading group at the Manitoba Métis Federation and has been beading ever since. Her work is inspired by the artists, colours, and lands around her, as well as by her ancestors who were beaders before her. Aside from art, Bronwyn loves spending time in nature and canoeing.
