Virtual Field Trip: Strike 1919

April 23, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Join us live online Thursday, April 23, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm for a virtual field trip focused on the Winnipeg General Strike. Learn what was happening on the ground in May and June of 1919, explore different perspectives, and discover what the Strike reveals about divisions in society. This program, for history buffs and students, is geared to the grade 6 and grade 11 curricula and based on the Manitoba Museum’s exhibition, Strike 1919: Divided City.
