Virtual Field Trip: Manitobans and WWII

November 10, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 10:45 am

Explore the Manitoba Museum from home with our Virtual Field Trips. With a new theme every session, these online programs are perfect for home learners looking for a fun, curriculum-based experience, for friends looking for an interactive way to spend time together at a distance, and for just about anyone interested in learning more about Manitoba! All welcome.

Manitobans and World War II:

This live, interactive program will put you in the role of historian as we examine artifacts, photos and documents to learn more about the diverse Manitobans who participated in the war effort at home and abroad.

This program is targeted at the grades 6 and 11 curricula; students will be able to describe Canada’s involvement in the Second World War and identify its impact on individual Manitobans and communities; students will apply historical thinking skills while interpreting primary source evidence.

TEACHERS: Interested in booking this program for your class? Contact our Reservations Coordinator at 204-988-9626 or email [email protected]. Or, submit a Virtual Field Trip Booking Request Form.
