Explore the Manitoba Museum from home with our Virtual Field Trips . With a new theme every session, these online programs are perfect for home learners looking for a fun, curriculum-based experience, for friends looking for an interactive way to spend time together at a distance, and for just about anyone interested in learning more about Manitoba! All are welcome.
Plants are amazing living things! What do they need to survive? Join us on a plant adventure through the Museum Galleries to learn how plants adapt to different environments, and how they can be both useful and harmful to humans. Discover how animals and plants depend on one another. Get to know the Nonsuch fur trading ship, and how it is made almost entirely of plants!
This program is geared to the grade 3 curriculum and examines plant adaptations, the relationship between plants and animals, and how plants meet their basic needs.
