Virtual Field Trip for Home Learning: Animal Adaptations

January 11, 2021 @ 10:30 am - 11:15 am

Explore the Manitoba Museum from home with our Virtual Field Trips. With a new theme every session, these online programs are perfect for home learners looking for a fun, curriculum-based experience, for friends or groups looking for an interactive way to spend time together at a distance, and for just about anyone interested in learning more about Manitoba! All welcome.

Virtual Field Trip for Home Learning: Animal Adaptations

Take a virtual nature walk through the Museum Galleries as we focus on the interesting ways animals behave in order to survive! Learn how animals are suited to their environments, explore the differences between young and mature animals, and contrast different life cycles of Manitoba animals in this interactive presentation.

This program is targeted at the grade two curriculum; participants will compare the changes in appearance and activities of different animals in their lifecycles, and will classify a variety of animals according to their characteristics and behaviours.

TEACHERS: Interested in booking this program for your class? Contact our Reservations Coordinator at 204-988-9626 or email [email protected]. Or, submit a Virtual Field Trip Booking Request Form.
