Virtual Behind-the-Scenes Tour: Holiday Edition

December 14, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm

NOMA was the largest manufacturer of Christmas lights prior to 1965.  Before electric Christmas lights were introduced to the market, people would put candles on their tree!

Grab a cup of cocoa and get into the festive spirit!

Come and join our Collections staff for an interactive virtual tour highlighting holiday-related artifacts in the Museum’s collection.  You will see early Christmas lights, 1920s glass balls, and a straw yule goat as you get a peak inside the history storage vault. We will also show you some modern classic toy ornaments such as Snoopy and Cabbage Patch Kids.  Spend time with us and other museum-loving friends – all from the comfort of your own home.

$10 per device @ home / FREE for Members

Virtual Tours take place on Zoom and last approximately 45 minutes. Registrants will receive an email confirmation link with instructions on how to join the Zoom Webinar. One registration is valid for one device.
