As part of the Manitoba Museum’s ongoing commitment to Reconciliation, we are pleased to offer complimentary Reconciling Our Histories tours on June 21, National Indigenous Peoples Day, and July 1, Canada Day, at 11:00 am.
This 90-minute guided neighbourhood tour of the Exchange District focuses on monuments and Indigenous perspectives that are absent from their stories. Participants will actively engage in dialogue to reposition the story of Winnipeg – a city built on shared lands of Treaty No. 1 territory.
The tour starts in the Manitoba Museum foyer and follows an accessible route of about 1.2 km.
Space is limited and registration is required. There is no charge for this tour. Thank you for your interest, this tour is now sold out.
This program was developed in partnership with the Manitoba Museum and the City of Winnipeg, Indigenous Relations Division.
