Choosing a first telescope is like choosing a first car or musical instrument – there isn’t a single “best” option, it depends on what you want to do with it. In this course, you’ll learn the basics of what telescopes do and don’t do, and how to cut through marketing hype to figure out what options are best for you.
Topics include:
Introductory-level courses are 2.5-hour courses conducted as an online Zoom meeting. You will need a device and an internet connection to participate.
Introductory courses are $20 for Museum members and $25 for non-members.
