50 years ago, the Martian Invasion began. The first robotic spacecraft from Earth touched down on Mars, and humans have been sending bigger and smarter robots to the Red Planet ever since. We’ll look back at those first Mars landings, which were surprisingly sophisticated for their time, and check in with the robotic explorers still currently active on Mars.

Plus, the winter constellations and other cool space stuff.
