July 15 is the Manitoba Museum’s 50th birthday. As we reflect on the past 50 years, we are also planning for our future. What is the role of the Museum? How do we reflect the everyday lives of communities? Join us for a virtual pop-up talk with Dr. Roland Sawatzky, Curator of History, and Rachel Erickson, Head of Learning & Engagement, as we explore how the Museum is “collecting 2020” – an unprecedented year of challenges and change for our city, our province, and the world. Roland and Rachel will be joined by Andreas Youseph, community member and recent artifact donor.
This event will be streamed live on Zoom and on Facebook.
