Ocean Wise AquaVan

Join us as we get a special one-day visit from the Ocean Wise AquaVan travelling exhibit. The bilingual mobile education program will be set up in our Science Gallery’s Explore Science Zone and will let you:
- Interact with creatures from the Pacific Coast, including sea stars, crabs and
sea anemones. - Increase ocean literacy and learn about the impacts humans are having
on our rivers, lakes and oceans and the role Canadians can play to ensure they
are healthy for future generations. - Gain an understanding of local history and regional environmental issues.
There will also be a contest where two winners will be able to join the crew of the Ocean Wise AquaVan to help feed the marine life. The feeding will happen at 2:30 pm and winners will need to be present to claim the prize.
