WE’RE READY FOR A HYBRID LEARNING YEAR!
We look forward to supporting you and your students with engaging experiential learning in history, nature, and science. In 2021-2022, the Manitoba Museum plans to offer both virtual and on-site curriculum-based experiences suitable for students in grades K-12.
Want us to come to you? Our Virtual Field Trips reached over 20,000 students last year and are here to stay! Whether you are 1,000 kilometres away or just down the street, in class or learning remotely, we can provide your students with engaging, interactive learning experiences via Zoom or Teams.
Find out how you can take your students on a trip through the solar system, an animal adventure, or a historical exploration and more with our Virtual Field Trips offerings listed HERE.
Ready for an on-site fieldtrip? We have adapted our programs to allow for physical distancing between students and proper hand hygiene practices before and after the use of touchable materials. As of September 10, in compliance with current public health orders, all visitors (ages 12+) are required to show proof of full vaccination (QR code on smartphone or vaccination verification card). Those over 18 must also show government issued identification upon arrival along with their proof of vaccination. Find all our COVID-19 protocols HERE.
The Planetarium is closed to the public on weekdays, but available for school bookings on Thursday and Fridays. Please contact us for details at either [email protected] or 204-988-0626.
The Science Gallery will be available for school bookings later in the fall. Stay tuned for more details!
