Winnipeg, MB (November 24, 2020): The Manitoba Museum is asking all who love adventure and discovery to double their impact and donate to the Museum before December 1.
All gifts made before December 1 will be matched – dollar for dollar – by generous community partners. These funds will support virtual programs being developed for teachers wanting to supplement learning during these unprecedented times.
“The Manitoba Museum continues to develop creative ways to offer meaningful curriculum-based programs for students. While there are no in-person school field trips right now, we are proud that we have figured out how we can bring the wonders of the Museum to the kids,” says Rachel Erickson, Head of Learning & Engagement at the Museum.
Donations, which will help Manitoba students learn and connect during virtual field trips, can be made on the Museum’s website at ManitobaMuseum.ca/donations.
The Manitoba Museum is grateful to its community partners, The Asper Foundation, Birchwood Automotive Group, Bockstael Construction, Gendis Inc., and Wawanesa Insurance, for matching all donations up to $35,000.
