Winnipeg MB (July 8, 2019): Laser shows will light up the night sky and the Apollo 11 Moon landing will be celebrated at the Planetarium all summer long.
Laser Shows return to the Planetarium on Friday and Saturday nights. Music fans will thoroughly enjoy the songs of The Beatles, Queen, Pink Floyd, Lady Gaga, and so many more – accompanied by amazing laser light shows. Show times are 7 pm, 8:15 pm, 9:45 pm, and 11 pm and include the Saturday Night Special featuring a different show every week at 9:45 pm and a chance make your own Classic Rock Requests on Fridays for the 11 pm show.
Evening shows are $15 per seat per show ($12 for Museum members) and tickets are available at the box office or at ManitobaMuseum.ca
The Planetarium and Science Gallery are hosting an out of this world space party to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first Moon landing! You won’t want to miss After Hours: Apollo 50 on Saturday, July 20 between 7 pm and 11 pm. Enjoy special showings of CAPCOM GO! The Apollo Story in the Planetarium, participate in hands-on Apollo space displays in the Science Gallery, meet special guests, mark this occasion at our a lunar module selfie station, and dance to the music of the ’60s and ’70’s with DJ King Cabernet! There will be appetizers and a cash bar. Don’t forget to come dressed like it’s 1969 for a chance to win prizes in our costume contest!
Tickets are $15 ($12 for Museum members) and are available at the box office or at ManitobaMuseum.ca
The Museum is open seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm and Thursdays until 9 pm until September 2.
