Museum’s Charlie Brown Tree Gets “Spruced Up”

This January what I like to call the Museum’s “Charlie Brown Christmas Tree” in the Arctic/Subarctic gallery, got polished up with some new paint and a new background. It’s still lopsided as ever (it did grow in the arctic after all) but now it has some friends in the background. Model of Franklin Expedition’s HMS Erebus on Display at Manitoba Museum

LIMITED TIME! Winnipeg, MB (January 18, 2018): The Manitoba Museum has received a scale model representing the wreck of HMS Erebus and its surrounding debris field, just as it was first seen by Parks Canada underwater archaeologists on September 2, 2014.
